How it works
- Load the PDF. Every page appears as a numbered thumbnail, so you can see what you are about to remove instead of trusting a page number.
- Click 🗑 on a single tile, or tick several pages and use the 🗑 Delete button in the toolbar to remove them together.
- Look over what is left. The tiles renumber as you go, which makes this your last and best chance to spot a mistake.
- Click “Download PDF” to save the shortened document. The original file on your disk is untouched.
How to be sure you removed the right pages
The expensive mistake is deleting by remembered page numbers. Printed numbers and real positions in a file disagree more often than people expect: an unnumbered cover, a title page, roman numerals in the front matter or a scanned insert can shift everything by one or two. Work from the thumbnails instead — the tiles are numbered by physical position, and the picture on each one tells you immediately whether it is the page you meant.
A three-step check catches nearly everything. Before deleting, enlarge the page you are unsure about and read it rather than recognising it by shape. After deleting, compare the page count you have with the count you expected — if you removed four pages from a 40-page document, 36 tiles should remain. Then look at the two pages on either side of each gap, because off-by-one is the classic error: the blank back was removed and the signature page went with it.
Nothing is committed until you press download. If the result looks wrong, reload the original file and start again — the document on your disk has not changed, so there is no damage to undo.
When you need to remove pages from a PDF
Most deletions fall into one of a handful of familiar situations:
- Blank reverse sides left by double-sided scanning, which double the length of a document and waste paper when someone prints it.
- Duplicates from a feeder that pulled two sheets at once, or from a scan restarted halfway through.
- Pages that should not be shared: internal pricing notes, a colleague's comments, an ID scan attached for one recipient but not the next.
- Advertising pages, order forms and legal boilerplate in downloaded manuals and catalogues, removed before printing.
- Trimming a long report down to the section a colleague actually asked for — though if you want the extract as a separate file and the original kept whole, Split PDF is the better tool.

Deleting a page versus covering something up
A deleted page is gone from the file you download. Its text, its images and anything sitting underneath them are simply not copied into the new document, which is what makes deletion the dependable way to strip a confidential page before sending. Nobody can select the text back out of it, and no editor can recover it, because it was never written into the file you sent.
Covering something up is a weaker guarantee, and worth understanding before you rely on it. Drawing a black rectangle over a paragraph in any general-purpose editor usually leaves the original text sitting in the file behind the box, where it can still be copied out or extracted by software. If a page contains one line that absolutely must not travel with the document, deleting the whole page — and reissuing it if necessary — is the safe answer. For visible annotations, signatures and marks that are meant to be seen, use Edit PDF instead.

As many as you like. Tick a dozen tiles and delete them in one action, or clear out most of a long document and keep only what matters. There is no server-side limit on document size — only your device's memory.
Will the remaining pages lose quality?
No. The pages you keep are copied into the new document untouched, with no re-encoding, so text stays selectable and searchable and scans keep their original resolution.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Open the PDF on Android or iPhone, tap the 🗑 button on the pages you want gone, and download the cleaned file. Tapping works the same as clicking, and there is no app to install.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no registration, no email address and no login — the page opens and the tool is ready to use.
